Gunther's ideal home

Gunther is a 1 year old Shih Tzu cross with a Maltese and is a handsome little fella looking for a wonderful new home to call his own. He would like a home where he can have lots of cuddles and adventures, as well as an active doggy social life! Gunther loves other dogs so could happily live with another dog, or if not, have friends that he gets to hang out with. Gunther is currently in one of our wonderful foster homes and took no time at all to make himself at all, he is enjoying lots of cuddles on the sofa and all of the play time! He is still a young boy so loves to keep busy and have fun! Gunther is completely housetrained in foster but may need reminding in a new setting and can be left alone for up to around 4 hours, once settled and built up to this of course!

Could you be Gunther's perfect match?

Gunther can sometimes be a teeny bit shy initially when you meet him but warms up super quick, he is worried if he needs to be picked up for any reason but doesn't react, just freezes up so we avoid doing this unless needed and once a relationship has been established. Gunther can also be a little worried when travelling in the car, he isn't vocal but does pant a lot and so short, positive journeys would be needed initially to build this up and create positive experiences. Gunther can live with children 11+ due to his sometimes worried nature and could live with another dog pending a successful meet. Gunther is a wonderful dog and is going to make someone super happy.
