Description

Toffee's ideal home

Say hello to Toffee and his siblings Maple, Cinnamon and Pumpkin! These Shih Tzu Crossbreed puppies are sweeter than your favourite autumnal treat, and are starting their search for their forever homes. As they are young puppies, anyone applying to adopt should be ready for everything that comes with puppyhood! They will need someone at home with them to begin with to help them settle, introduce them to the world around them and work on their basic training. Toffee and her siblings are able to live with children and other pets, as long as everyone is properly introduced and interactions are managed within the home. If there is another dog in the home, they will need to come to the Centre to meet the puppy before adoption to make sure it has the potential to be a pawsitive friendship. Each puppy will be automatically enrolled into our amazing Dog School classes upon adoption, which will give them a fantastic start in their training.

Could you be Toffee's perfect match?

Toffee, Maple, Cinnamon and Pumpkin are super playful puppies! They love to interact with toys and even play fun games of tug with each other! They are showing more of their little personalities every day, and know they will blossom into fantastic companions for their adopters. If you think you would like to adopt one of these puppies, please complete an online application and include 'Toffee' as one of your Favourite 'dogs'. Thank you!

Shih Tzu Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Shih Tzu.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
